Enjoy the journey.

Welcome to yet another blog for women of a certain age. Yay–there is a club. Either of these pictures could be me; I will let you decide, but I am here to talk about travel, life, wellness (over 50), menopause, parenting, health, wealth, and whatever is currently bothering me (ahem, politics). I really won’t talk about politics as I am trying to reduce stress in my life. I am neither a fashionista nor a model so I won’t be selling clothes or trends. I am just a regular person who got hit in the side of the head with 50 while I wasn’t paying attention and it knocked me out. I suddenly hated my career of almost 30 years, wasn’t sleeping well, lost my purpose when my kids left the house, and just struggled to remain the same. Then I realized I wasn’t supposed to be the same. This is the second half and I want to enjoy the journey. I don’t expect people to actually be on this blog, but I welcome anyone in a similar spot. Along the way if I inspire someone to take a trip or eat more plants, great. But this is a no judgment zone. What I think works for me doesn’t even always work for me and all that is part of the journey. Let’s do it together because it is fucking hard. (PS, I swear. No apologies.)
